12" slotted sub box????

Hey everyone, just bought my new alpine 600w amp and a new 12" jl audio 12w3 sub for my car and now I just need a box before I can get someone to install it. I can't build one myself because I don't have the time and craftsmanship to do it. I was told that the slotted boxes are better than the enclosed boxes so I am going to go with the slotted. I found one on ebay and it looks and sounds like it is a good box for my 12". Heres the link Click Here. Will this box be a good housing for my jl sub? Thanks!

if you check out jl's site they give you all the specs on their subs and dimensions of enclosures
I'm sure someone else will answer with more info later tho

The specs are really close so I think this will be a good box, but I would like you alls opinion so I can make a final decision.

from what i saw on jl's site, that enclosure is roughly the right size...

but from the angle they took the pic of it on ebay, im not sure if it has a port in it, or if they just cut a hole in a sealed box
