Pyramid Audio, Lightning Audio or Profile amplifier?

Are Pyramid Audio and/or Lightning Audio amplifiers any good? I've heard some good news about Profile Clarus Series amplifiers so far no bad news on them. How about those other 2 brands I've mentioned (Pyramid Audio and Lightning Audio)?

haha Aznvoice. Think about when u had the Matrix coilovers. You got em cuz they were cheap right? Well I'm sure ur more satisfied with the Tein suspension you have now. Pyramid sucks, Lightning audio and Profile are OK for the money. The JBL BP power series is the best value for the money I think. Where else can you get a 1200 watt RMS amp for $250? You can get a lower wattage one for like $180? not too shabby in my opinion.

LoL Aznnp77 you're ryte. Well I'm just looking for an amp for the inside speakers preferably an RMS of 75w x 4. Heheh, as a matter of fact I was thinking of Rockford Fostgate 300X (cheapest I found is $177), but that only has an RMS of 35.5w x 4. I also found JBL P804 but only has an RMS of 40w x 4 (cheapest I found $169).

While Lightning Audio B300.4 has an RMS fo 50w x 4 (cheapest I found is $129) and Profile "Clarus" CL440 (cheapest I found $108) also has an RMS of 50w x 4. So I'm trying to look for a good buy, since I need to buy new components (so I'm on a budget).

So what do you guys think?

Ryte now I have Infinity Reference 605cs (components) and MB Quart DTC-169 (6x9s'). Unfortunately my components are actin' up so I'm either gonna replace them with the same ones or MB Quart DSD-216.

I would choose the Rockford any day over the other two.

Tons of power is nice but not necessary.

I have a Kicker 150.2 .... which is 35x2 @ 4 ohms running a set of Diamond Audio 6.5" M6 components rated for 170 watts.

The gain is set at about 65%. Its by far enough to make your ears bleed upon command.

owned, not made by. This is a big misconception among alot of people. There are literally hundreds of electroncs manufacturers that own otehr manufacturers that doesn't mean they make it. I mean if you want to get down to it Harmon International owns JBL all the way to the KLF concert speakers, they also own Rockford, Harmon-Kardon, Lightning, Lexicon, BSS, Infinty, AKG, Crown International, and the list goes on.

well I know for a fact tha the lightning audio S2.500 is an RF500A2 with a different heatsink, and modified power supply(for the plug in cap) ...otherwise it's the same amp...

Many amplifiers share the same parts..or the same amp boards..like Arc Audio and Clarion...same boards and layouts...but Clarion uses much cheaper lower tolerance electriconic parts in their amps..like resistors with a 10% tolerance, whereas arc amps use 1% tolerance parts..

which two amps?? I just recently installed a Lightning Audio B200.2 in my car to power my infinity reference speakers. Wonderful amp, I think it was well worth the $99 I spent on it. Whether it is owned or made by RF or whatever, they seem to be pretty good amps from my experience with the one I have. I got it based on the opinions of people here as well as reviews I found of other Lightning Audio products and I think it was well worth the money I spent. They also put out what they are rated at pretty accurately from what I've read/heard. Anyways, just my two cents worth, if I had it to do over again I would probably definately take the lightning audio, very impressed so far. Good Luck!
