panasonic in dash dvd player
the dvd player...with the flip out center speaker....is that a good product?...because i have noticed that the price has gone down ALOT...and they are being re-sold alot as well..such as on e-bay...
was there something wrong with the headunit? or does this just happen to all products?

Rep Power: 0 I haven't heard anything bad about panasonics or that particular one. Personally I think the center channel is great if you play DVDs in your car. But not many people have the need to watch a DVD in their car nor the time which is why I think it is not selling well and being resold.
I have one. It is a good unit but will not play burned cd's. Also thats not a center channel. Its an Effect Channel. Imagine listening to dialog thru just a tweeter. I will be adding a true center channel. This is still the only unit out that plays DVD Audio. Im happy with it, i just wish it played burned cd's
