Remounting Radar Detector Display

Remounting Radar Detector Display
I would like to take the LED display off my Bel 980 Radar Detector and move it into the gauge cluster, in the little area at the bottom between the tach and the speedo. I know it sounds weird, but i have the detector mounted by the mirror and think it would be cool to have it with the gauges so i didn't have to keep looking up there to see what is going on. Anyone have any ideas?

Rep Power: 0 you will need to take it to a electronic tv/vcr repair shop and have them remove the display, then solder wire connectors of desired length to the connectors where the display plugged in- you will also need to remote mount the antennae. Acura NSX comes stock with this mod.
