there is a better pic in members rides but I will post some good pics here. there is an ac/dc inverter next to the 12v outlet. I made the bracket for the lcd out of a bathroom garbage can, sticker and dash kit.

oh wow, so you actually ripped apart the whole HU... thats interesting... load cd's into the glove, but look at it up there... that just gave me so many ideas... was it hard to extend the wiring to up there? i would probably do mine that way but i dunno how my radio would like it... the thing is too motorized... unless i could actually remove the motorized part and remount it somewhere

thats a good idea. if you like I will make a diy page. its not to hard if you get the right hu. this is the 2nd one i've done like this and i'll never use the p740mp again. the thing in the glove box w the hu is a relay box to attach and detach the face. without that the damn cd wont eject. it thinks there is still a face on there so it wont pop out the disc. thats why I say DON'T GET THE DEH-P740MP!!!!

It is the stock one. I just changed some stuff around in the ac/dc inverter, cut a hole, painted and bolted the plug plate on the peice you're talking about.
