WIRES

Is there a SITE where it tells me what all the wires are for hooking up a deck??

like which one is power and ground.. STUFF like that.

Dont cut the factory plug off. Get yourself a metra wiring harness 70-1721. Its much easier that way.

yeah you should buy a harness for a much cleaner install. its somewhere around $15. the harness has individual labels on the wires to tell you what that wire does.

i guess i'll throw in the color codes if u REALLY want to do it that way. the color code should be universal on all cars nowadays
yellow = 12v battery/constant (12V+)
red = 12v ignition/switch (12V+)
blue = power ant
blue/white = remote turn on (12V+)
orange = illumination/dimmer
black = ground (12V-)
white = left front pos. (LF+)
white/back = left front neg (LF-)
gray = right front pos (RF+)
gray/back = right front neg (RF-)
green = left rear pos (LR+)
green/black = left rear neg (LR-)
violet = right rear pos (RR+)
violet/black = right rear neg (RR-)
