Factory Ground
I want to update my factory ground to 4 gauge, is there anything special I should do or look out for when I do it? Should I make the ground point the same on that lil copper colored thing? Should I upgrade any other wiring also?

I did my my battery ground and I have a few questions to make sure that I did it right:
1. The negative ground goes from the negative battery terminal to the chasis of the car ( the wire is bare for a few inches and is connected by a bolt) then the wire keeps going to a brass thing that looks like it is hooked to either the alternator (or engine, with the last four inches bare). What I did was that I connected 8 gauge wire to were the chasis is then i took 4 gauge wire and I hooked it directly to the brass thing from the negative terminal, and I made the last 4 inches bare. Did I do this right, or should I hooked the negative of the battery with 4 gauge to the chasis, then from that spot on the chasis have a 4 gauge wire going to the brass part on the alternator (or engine?)?
2. Where is the engine ground? Is it that silver bare wire that is right in the front center under the hood (right in the middle when you look down at the engine)?
Thanks, i would really appreciate some help on this because I feel like I may have done something wrong.
Sorry if these are stupid questions
