12 L7s or 10 Perfects????
I am considering buying a couple Kicker Solo Baric L7s 12"s. I am currently running a pair of Infinity perfect 10"s.
Basically I am looking for more SPL (way more) with decent sound quality. I will be powering the L7s with a JBL bp1200.1 if I buy them.
What would be the advantages/disadvantages of the L7s. I have heard L7s, but never in a car, only in a shop...so I don't know how they will sound in a car audio environment.
Also, if you have any opinions on other subs that I could get for less then $500 dollars, including a prefab box, please let me know? And how much and where i could buy them from online.
Thanks!

Why L7's?... it really depends on which enclosure you put them in..the L7's aren't that efficient in a sealed setup..they can get mightly loud lorted though... sound is 80% Enclosure dependant
Kicker makes some good stuff. Their solo barics have been known for their quality, but I've heard some differing opinions on the new square design. Just do some research on enclosures off their website. You might want to check out JL's W6v2 or W7. Though I believe 13W7 runs over 5 bills but I know that if you want quality and more SPL a 13W7 will definitely do the job IMO.
