What is the general opinion of the black widow car alarms? The one I'm really looking at is the BW FM 200 that comes with the LCD remote and remote start and everything. It looks really good, but I just wanted to know if anybody has used them or has any opinions on them. Thanks.

I have the BW 3000 and I think it works great. I can turn it on or off with the valet/override swtich, so I can make it just keyless entry, it auto locks when the alarm is on, it has dual stage impact detector (which is pretty sensitive), it can either the full beep noice or just chirp, and some other confusing sheet... I thinks its a-okay

Abstract is right, the install is what counts, but as an installer, I would go with a DEI product. That is just my personal opinion. I've installed both Black Widow and DEI alarms, DEI is just a better company.
