I want rear speakers.
I know that I want to get new rear speakers. I just want to know what kind I should get when i do. 6x9? 2 way? 3 way? components? I want the best sound quality and I am not going to just leave them stock or leave a whole there. Let me know, thanks.
Screw anything w/ the rears until you get components on an amp up front.
Seriously thats where 85% of the sound should be coming from for proper imaging.
I have front components on an amp, and 6x9's in the rear but off deck power. Even with that huge difference in power I still have the fader +7 to the front to make it balance out correctly.
Take a look and maybe it'll give you some ideas.
PS: Love the rims.

You have to be careful when choosing 6x9's. Remember that you have trunk springs that don't allow much depth, therefore that is going to decrease the size of your magnet, in turn, decreasing power handling. I believe that there are aftermarket trunk springs that you can pick up that will allow more depth, but that is up to you on whether you think it is worth it or not. If you are going to be running the speakers off of the head unit, you should consider getting more efficient speakers as opposed to ones that have a higher power rating, unless you are going to run them off of an amp. I have Pioneer Premier 6x9's in my rear deck, and I have them running of of my receiver and I love them. In my wife's car, (02 LX Cpe), I put in some Kicker 2 way 6x9's and ran them off of an Alpine amp, and they sound awesome. I didn't replace her springs, but it was a pain to put them back in. One other option you can consider, Crutchfield makes mounting plates for 6 1/2's that fit into your rear deck, you could consider that, too. Good Luck.
it the speakers have a neodymium magnet then the magnet will be much smaller with the same power handling. course I have no idea if there are any 6x9s out there with that kind of magnet.
