which way to face sub?...

until today, i had my sub facing the interior, until a friend told me that i should be facing it away from me, that way, i will get better bass. so i tried it, and i think it does give more bass. it must be in my head though, that doesn't make sense to me why i would get better bass facing it away. please guys, help me, is it in my head or not?

one 12W3, one cubic foot hatch box ( sealed ), rockford 550X amp giving 275watts.

Raam60 is more than enough...but make sure you tighten the trunk latch first..and make sure you know what is actually rattling..you might not need raammat

you're right, i did tighten it, but it might be the spoiler rattling, i dont get that though. can it be the wiring in the spoiler for the brake like thats rattling? i wanted to raamat the trunk a bit to try and eliminate rattling and improve the bass quality. so should i just try and stop the rattling in the spoiler first and not worry about raamat?

Stop all rattles first.. actual rattles are 2 different pieces making contact..reesonaces (buzzing sound) is what raammat will fix

yea, that makes sense, i think i will just inject some type of foam insulation into the spoiler from the brake light, that should get rid of spoiler/brake light rattle, but i have a feeling there is something else rattling, better not be that damn rear deck again.
