anyone familiar with old PPI's?
im trying to hook up two of my friends old school black PPI's to a stock tape deck. they are the 430iQX (4x30) and 100iQx (2x50). i dont see a connector for high level input, but theres something called frequency select. is that the same? it looks like 8 little pinholes in a row from left to right. how can i hook those amps up to the stock deck? i wont be able to get ahold of a digicam for a couple weeks so i cant take pix.

ok i know the process of the installation but how is the actual wiring? is it like below...
also how many sets of wires can the RCA converters take in? if it takes in less than 4 sets than i will need to buy more converters and rearrange my wiring. i hope the converters are cheap.
another side question...since i am going to run 2 amps and most likely add another amp in the future for subs, i wanna buy a power distributor. it takes 1 red (+) input wire, holds 2 or 4 fuses, then has 2 or 4 output terminals to hook up to amps. my question is...can i install it in my trunk rather then close to the battery. that way i only have 1 power wire running back that splits, instead of 2 or more power wires running back for each amp?
all help is greatly appreciated!!!

actually i think all you need is two speaker wires per converter. since your amp has an output in one of them(as pictured in the pic you provided) you only need one converter... why would you need 6 speaker wires going to it? i would guess all you need is 2, one for the left and one for the right side. think of it as rca cables, you only have 2 and not 6 for each amp right. and this one link they provide on the link i gave you said its only like $7.
as for the power block, your supposed to put it in the trunk and not near the battery.
