new to ice could use some help!

planning in puting in a new sound system, head unit subs and replacin the stock speakers but i need some advice, never done anything this exstensive, mainly on subs a amp selection, if you could give any tips like how do i know wich amp to pick for sertin subs that would be great, also the clasification like someone told me not to get a class D amp cause i will have to use a second battery? and do i really need to replace the stock speakers? any tips and advice welcome but don't flame like i said i'm new here. thanks jason. I suggest you just take an afternoon and read as much as you can in the ICE forum.

Now, if you get a class D amp you WILL NOT need another battery. Man, they really fed you a line there. You can get by with just replacing the fron speakers with some good components and pushing them with an amp. Make sure you are running your sub amp off of pre-outs and don't wire the power and the RCA cables to the sub near eachother.
