head unit trim
well i was wondering what trims are out there for our head unit. I read gray's post and well. i don't like my choices really and i don't have the time and know how to custom do it. though it sounds like a lot of fun to design. maybe when my engineer friend has time. but till then.. anyone got any ideas on head unit trims?

i have the plain black one that fits flush, but i altered mine a touch... hehe...
before i got laid-off my previous job i got my hands on a piece of scrap aluminum, on break i took some paper and a scale and took my measurements of the kit. Once back in the work-place i laid-out the design on my aluminum and fabricated a cover for my kit. Once I had the chance to finish the project I took my kit out and "very sneekily" sneeked it into the jobplace, put my piece up against the kit and it fit pretty good. then I drilled two holes. One on each side and slipped some bolts through and fit some nuts on to hold the aluminum against my kit. took it to my car and slid it right in. looks good in my opinion. definately unique!

forgot to add: by adding a sheet of aluminum to the kit, it definately isn't fluch now. hehe... but it's cool... I took a Dotco (High speed rotary tool) w/ Sanding attachments and gave it a funky polished look.
