How to Secure Sub in Trunk?

Hmm... ok, so I wanted to have the easiest setup in my trunk so that I can yank everything out to carry cargo if needed, so I attached velcro to the bottom of the sub. It worked fine until I decided to take a corner very hard and the sub dislodged... How do you normally secure the sub in the trunk? I'm trying to find a way that isn't too hard to remove if I need to use the whole trunk.

How is it typically done?

If you are trying to avoid a permanent install, try using a "L" bracket, just keep a screwdriver in the car.

In my old ride, I used one of those ratcheting cargo straps. I just looped the strap to some part of the car, and the other loop went around a hook I screwed into my box. The box was pretty much strapped into the corner. Kinda ghetto (ok ok, it IS ghetto), but it works.

What did you secure it to? I assume most people secure their sub to the wooden trunk floor board (the one that lifts up to reveal the spare).

In my old car, I had a leaky trunk and sometimes water would pool up in the spare tire well where I had my sub box. I screwed 2x4's to the bottom of it and that kept it out of the water and it kept it from tipping over. You probably don't want to do that though. I just mentioned it for some good laughs. Feel free to point and snicker at my old ghettoness.

You can use L brackets then use those wing nutes to secure them, that's what i used and it was easy to take out by hand and no tools.
