wire keeps disconnecting

i don't know what to do and its driving me crazy. my amp is mounted on my back seat, driver's side. one of the wires running to the speakers keeps coming disconnected. here is the set up on teh amp, hopefully it will make sense. i gota kenwood amp 4 ch. 2 12s are runnin off it. the wire is grounded (?) to the screw, but its a thick copper wire, and the screw has a little ledge for lack of a better word, beneath it. kinda like a washer, but its not a washer. the wire went under this ledge, and now it always disconnects. i was thinking about gettin one of those prong things to hold it on. I don't know much about this stuff, obviously, but if anyone can help me i will love you forever......not really, but i'd be really happy

ELaudio is an unknown quantity at this point
I'd suggest you get some prong-style terminals and install one on the end of your wire. Every wire connection in my system has these and it makes for a much more secure connection. They are available at home depot - probably the cheapest place to find them. Just make sure you get the right width so they fit into the "slot" of your amp.
