has anyone upgraded there alternator?????

well durring the colder months the alternator is fine pushes just enough powere for all my stuff- but lately it all hot out and like all my aftermarket stuff cuts out- could i replace it with anothere larger alternator???? i dont feel like spending 300$ for some big pimped out stock one- i think one out of a truck would do just fine thanks- how could i do this????

Yeah, ICE/Electrical would be the place to post this one, but I'm gonna be nice and point you in the right direction. PM Mohawkboom. He's already changed out his alternator.
