It works very well if applied correctly as do several of the sound damping materials. I don't think I have ever heard anyone say Dynamat sux. That's a new one for me.

Dynamat Regular kinda does suck. Dynamat extreme is great..but WAY Overpriced... Brown Bread, or Raammat is the quality way to go.. Both are awesome deadeners and cost MUCH less than dynamat.

Cheers

Dynamat Extreme is the way to go but you gotta get hooked up with a good price
because that shiz is expensive. I have my doors, rear lid, and truck lined with it and
it works great. Got all of it for $80 but good luck beating that.

Who do you sleep with for those prices . If your in the US Best deal is Raammat 60 at $99 for a 62.5 sq.ft roll. Dynamat Extreme is over $200 for a 36.sq.ft roll. They both offer very similar damping properties. And you can do 4 layers of Raam mat for the price of 1 layer of Dynamat Extreme...

If your in Canada Brown Bread works out to be a slightly better dealafter shipping and duty and excise taxes.

I did a Review of all 3 under alot of tests. Dynamat Extreme deadens a wee tad better then Raam60 and Brown Bread, but has the weakest adhesive and is the hardest to work with. and Most expensive. Of the 3 I liked Raam60 the best. Best overall price to performance. Brown Bread a close 2nd.. Dynamat a distant 3rd. (mostly due to price and the fact that you NEED a heat gun). Whereas with Raammat and Brown bread. you don't need a heat gun if it's warm outside.

Cheers

Yes it will. WHen you apply it, make sure where the area you apply it, its VERY clean. If it doesnt stick well, on a hot summer day the car will heat up, and it will peel off. Just make sure it is clean. As for applying it, just apply it where 2 metals come togather and are welded. Basicly anyplace where 2 metals are joined togather and are close, slap it on there. Heavy bass will flex to the metals and they will vibrate. Also take off the rear deck and coat the entire rear deck, and special attention to the seat belt thingy, those will rattle too. After you are done, to make a clean installing / more bass insulation and so you dont have dynomate chunks visuable. Pick up a car of uncoating spray. It sprays this rubber type liquid that will dry and paint everything black in the trunk. Also helps for areas that you missed with dynomat. Just dont get it on a window or paint that you dont wana spray. Tape it off.....

Bhaz..sound deadeners don't fix problems where 2 pieces of metal are coming in contact. What they do preven panels themselves from resonating.

to prevent 2 things from coming in contact with each other, nothing beats a bead of silicone . or if that part has to come off again, some adhesive gasketing foam

Silicone does not work well on women. It makes them look as fake as their personalities are (for thos e typical big boobed models anyways). Also they no longer use silicone due to risk factors. It's now a soy based gel.

lol

I like things real. Real people, real personalities, real boobies!
