I'm looking for a low-priced amp that can handle my dvc 4ohm sub (2ohm load). Any reccommendations guys?

I'd like to bridge it, obviously, for max power, and thats where the problem seem to come in for cheap amps.

Need more info Dude, for a Sub that can handle 600+ watts I would go with a MTX 6500D or JBL 1200.1

I believe the audiobahn amps are 2 ohm stable. I was looking at the whole audiobahn set up for my car and they look sweet. That, and I know a guy who is running all kinds of their equipment, expensive but the results are amazing. Crutchfield just started carrying them. CRUTCHFIELD ROCKS!

JBL makes the perfect cheap workhorse amp.

150.1, 300.1, 600.1, 1200.1.

will do either 150, 300, 600, or 1200 watts at 2 ohms, never overheat, rock stable, undderrated, and comes with a nice crossover.

you can get the 1200.1 for $225 on yahoo shopping.

I just wanted to say that JBL is great! I have a BP-1200.1. I got it for $195 brand new on eBay. It is pushing two 12" Kicker Solobaric L7's (2nd-gen). It is a very hard hitting amp that seems to be pretty efficient. I have only had it overheat a couple of times, but it is because I only had 8 guage power and ground cables. They worked fine for a while, but I noticed the other day that my ground cable was melted at one end! I'm going to four guage!! Anyway, I highly recommend JBL amps! I have had people make fun of my amp, but the same people who make fun of it are running Jensen, PowerAccoustic, BOSS, Legacy, even Audiovox. Oh well...I just laugh and crank my system up.

JBL's really rock, I think I would go with the 600.1
