kicker = better fitment?
I'm more than likely going to purchase my component speakers tomorrow and was wondering if i would need a spacer for them? crutchfield claims they are depth of 1 and 7/8'' for the front 6.5's. the 6X9's fit supposedly fit better than the kappa's.
anyone got an idea on the spacer info for kicker components? if so should i just call scoshe?
thanks

i understand where you are coming from, but I don't want to compete in sound competitions and stuff like that. I don't care how loud my system is as long as it is nice and clear. The only time I listen to it is when I'm in the car so it doesnt take much volume to hear it..... i ordered the kicker K6.2 components from onlinecarstereo.com and paid $139 total. I'll be more than happy to bet this will sound better than the stock speakers, and thats all I want; I dont want a beast machine with 2000 watts.
When i searched around i saw that you [mohawk] suggested onlinecarstereo and I'm GLAD you did. saved me lotsa $$$ and I know i will enjoy my purchase.
later,
alex
