Which wire will cut off engine for security reasons?

Hi, my searching didnt come up with anything.

can someone please tell me which WIRE I can use as a security cut off (on/off) switch, Where and what color are the wires? Do i need a relay or not?

what would you recommend for a no start cut off switch?

7th gen 2003 civic sedan EX Auto

I dont remember the fuses in my old civic but you could pull the spark fuse(possibly add a switch inbetween?), I never did it to my civic but we did do it as a prank on a friends subaru sti

i think most of the time it's a relay on the starter wire. so if the alarm goes off then the starter is disabled and therefore you can't start the car and drive off with it. not sure of the exact wiring though

There are several different wires you can cut to install a kill switch. I have 2 kill switches in my car. Unfortunately posting about it online only makes it easier for people to understand how to bypass them. You would only need to use a relay if you were using a low amperage switch on a higher amperage line.

I'm sure if you google 'kill switch' you'll find some ideas though.

you don't need a kill switch your car has an immobiliser so unless someone has time to break into your car and then swap your ECU out i think they would also have time to find your kill switch plus nobody steals 7th gen civics. if somebody really wanted your car they would just tow it.
