I blew my sound system like 6 months ago and now my aux cable is acting up and fluctuates with sound volume. I have a clarion head and that's literally the extent of what I know about this car since I bought it. The head was put on weird and not an easy pull out like most. Any suggestions on new systems and what to do with the head?

Well for a new head unit, i LOVE my Pioneer.... but how much are you looking at spending? (mines worth about $1100) but i went hardcore on mine.

You have a huge range of options if your budget is 400.
Shop around crutchfield and see what you like.

With that budget, I'd probably get a double din touch screen
