static in your tweeters?

seems none of u posted bout havin these..[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] i have 2 rockford amps, the 4ch for seperates and 2ch driving the single 15" RF subwoofer in ported box and i have DLS seperates.... the prob is theres this sound that they call STATIC ("tssssssssss") when i turn on my radio n its driving me [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]*nuts* it even keeps gettin' louder when i turn on the aircondition n EVEN LOUDER when i turn on the hedlyts!! some said its in the RCA or amps or ?!?! pls give me some advice how 2 get rid of dat sound.... tnx!!

Either you have really Crappy RCA's or decent RCA's and they crossing your power wire somewhere.

i have 2 sets of lightning audio rca's. is it possible that its also comin from the crossover? mine is kicker x2i

Nope..it's not possible.. your RCA's are crossing a ground loop and picking up some noise. Our cars are pretty bad in that sense..just rework your wiring untill the noise is gone...How did you run your wiring?

well.... im from the phil. here we let our installer do the work because if you DIY and sumthin goes wrong they wont assist you or refund your product.. so i think il jst tell them to rewire it right?

They should rewire it for free bcause they didn't install it properly if there's a noise problem

I recently installed tweeters in my HX and have the same problem. Tweets run off the HU with factory wire...and power doesn't cross them. I'm thinking it's a problem with factory wiring. I'm going to run my own speaker wire to see if it fixes the problem.

USE whats called a "NOISE FILTER"
-ask your local shop they'll know what it is!!!

yep that is what i got too. but the static noise gets loder every time i step on the gas. i thought that i needed rca wire but i tried that and still no improvement. my wireing seems right. i have the power going under the the center console to the left and my rca also going under there but to the right of it. what am i doing wrong?
