Um. . .OK, here's one for ya. I've got the info on how to wire my 3 eclipses to the earthquake amp. Now, considering this will be the first system I put in myself, how do I wire it to the HU, power source, etc? I've never done an amp. Have put in an HU before, so have basic electrical and electronic knowledge. What gauge wire do you recommend? Where would be best to run it? What size fuse to use, and where to place it? What type of fuse? End connectors?

For that setup, I would reccomend 1/0 Guage wire, for pwoer and ground. Run that from your battery to a distro block that has 2 4 guage outputs. Run the power wire down the right side of your car. Run the RCA's and speaker wires down the left(drivers side) Fuse wise I'd say go for a 150amp breaker, or 150 amp ANL fuse with holder. Getting a good set of battery terminals will help with power transfer from the battery and allow you to upgrade your alternato to bat wiring to at least 4 guage as well. And same for grounds. I use Tsunami Lok-Nut terminals ..they have 2 1/0 Guage inputs and 2 8-gauge accessory inputs as well (great for neans. foglights...stuff like that)..

No CLue.. my HU has 3 wires goin in+ the antenna. the +12v, the Ignition turn on and dimmer wire. and the remote wire going out. so I haven't a friggen clue on that one..might wanna drop by a shop and haven em look at it..
and i seem to be getting a whistling noise from my speakers now since i installed the new amp and front speakers, what could that be? bad rca's? i spent 50 bucks on the rca's so i dont think thats the problem, could it be my rca cables are too close to a power cable?

Where did yu ground the amp?.. do your RCA's at any point cross or come within 4" of your power or ground cable?..and what side of the car did you run the RCA's down?
i didnt really have time to do everything right, I have a distrubution box under my passenger seat where my sub amp is and i ran the power from there to the left seat to the speaker amps, and the rca's are down the center console, yeah im pretty sure the Rca's are within 4 inches of the power and ground
