JBL?
We use a lot of JBL Pro series gear for our church sound system. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with their car audio equipment? Here is what I am looking at as far as subs and amps:
Sub Amp
Sub
Full Range Amp
Let me know what you think. I am getting 2 sets of Kenwood eXcelon components and just using the woofer in the rear deck. Think this will work?

<< JBL's subs aren't that good. the full range amp are average.. and the sub amps are great for the price.
Cheers

Do you really think the AMPs are that good? I always thought them to be in the Profile/Jensen bandcamp.
On that topic, what do you think is the best amp (cost vs. reliabilty/performance) in the cheaper bracket (Sony, Kenwood, etc...)

Best cost-performance amps.. Alpine, Eclipse, and MTX....
JBL's Class D amps are quite good...
Uncle B Why an Alipne V12 amp for subs..it's a class A/B Amp.. why not make life easier on your electrical system and get a less expensive class D amp

I probably won't know what I am getting for sure until the day I buy it. I will probably end up going with JBL because no one else does and I like to be different. I know, that's not a very good reason to buy something, but it works for me.

I have jbl subs. I got the GT series though. They hit nice but really do not get the high bass I like. They are 10's which might play a part but overall they are not bad. They are holding me off until next month. I am getting 3 JL 12" W3's in a custom trunk. I am going to use my Fosgate 800.2 amp to push those, which is pushing my JBL's right now. I would suggest you get if your just looking for a cheap whatever system. If your really planing on sounding beyond great, or showing the car, save the cash and go with high quality products. Like I said I got these to hold me off until my trunk. Have done a great job.

the JBL's are pretty cean and efficient class D amps so they're pretty good for sub amps..
