it should be an easy thing to do, all you need is a screwdriver. After you remove the speaker, make sure the speaker is the culprit not the wiring or something else. You need a multimeter for this to test the resistance between the two terminals, if the resistance reads anywhere between 4 to 8 ohms then your speaker is good, if the resistance reads infinity then your speaker has an open circuit and it is not good. Most probably it is the speaker but make sure before you buy a new one. I replaced my speaker few days ago, i bought the OEM one for 18 bucks from righthondaparts.com
