tachometer Does not work

Hi Everyone I've had this problem for over a month now and cant figure it out my tach does not work.
I even trying connecting and after market one that I know works for a fact and it still does not work, I've checked all my fuse's both under the hood and under the dash and everything is fine. Any ideas what could be causing it not to work?
I've heard that if you could fry the vss in the Fuse box under the dash and that can cause it not to work is that true?
Thanks.
oh and I have and 02 civic ex

Re: tachometer Does not work

Hi thanks for your reply.
I was looking into that, but it seems everyone that had a bad multiplex had tons off other problems. For me the only thing that's not working is the tachometer.

Re: tachometer Does not work

Have you done the cluster test to see if the tach works during testing ??

Re: tachometer Does not work

Just wanted to update this.
I found out that my tach wire got this disconnected while I was doing my conversion.
I removed the cluster yesterday and saw the wire just laying there reconnected it and everything is fine now. So thanks everyone for there help.
