Wiring Help
I am trying to begin some customization on my vehicle. I was planning on installing fog lights and some interior led/neons inside. I have bought a couple rocker switches and some wiring. I also bought a Pilot Performance Switches PL-SW16 as seen below.

I am not sure where to access the power for it. I tried a simple test with an led nozzle light. I applied the ground wire and connected the red o to a screw located in the fuse box. This immediately melted the wire on the. What is going on here? and whats the best way to connect the wiring.

Re: Wiring Help
That depends.
You can draw power for the leds off the a million different things, because the power draw is so small. Many of us here have leds behind our climate control ***** and we wire those straight off the stock bulbs. If you want to put leds in the vents, cup holders, under the seats and such you can use a switch and draw power from the cigarette lighter.
There are a few different ways to wire foglights in place, including straight off the battery. There's a DIY on wiring up foglights under 7g DIYs.
