Intake and ICE

Maybe this isn't the best place to post this, but I would run into the same problem anywhere i think.

Will putting in a CAI interfere much with my music listening enjoyment? Is it so loud that it will drown out my music, in other words?

Only when you really hit the high RPMs at WOT. In all honesty I don't think my engine can drown out my system at a good volume(and mine isn't a DB drag vehicle either). Anyway, some sounds are worth the interruption in the music for

yeah in a way both intakes and exhaust systems add alot of outside noise which can effect you listening preferences..mainly it's more noise for your system to compete with and on some levels it causes some cancellation or reinforcement at some frequencies so it can cause some negative effects..

Hey don't let that discourage you.. you can always buy a hoodliner from Cascade audio or Dynamat hoodliner and it'll get rid of most of your engine and intake noise..even with an intake it'l be quieter than stock

Would the hoodliner be what i needed or would just putting dynamat on my firewall do the same? Or both?

civicrider.. both.. just the hoodliner will make a fair difference.. Sound deadening your firewall, doors and roof will make a HUGE difference
