Amp Install
What is the easiest way to run the power wire for my subs/amp? and how do you take apart the bottom side plastics on the floor by the door to run the wire?

Re: Amp Install
there's a rubber grommet on the firewall, just to the right of the center console, under the carpet that you can use to run your power wire. As for the panels, they pop off, just gotta be careful with it.

this view is looking down into the engine bay, standing in front of the battery. The grey part at the top of the pic is my intake pipe.

and, for reference, the size of the wire I have going through that grommet, 13.61mm (~0.54 inches)

Just attach the power wire to a long screw driver or dowel and push it through the grommet. Then if you pop down your glove box you should see it, and then you can run it. Make sure if your running any RCA cables or speaker wires that you run them down the opposite side of the car so theres no interference. And if it makes any difference I have 4g wire through my grommet.

I also ran my power wires through the grommet. I have a 4 gauge and an 8 gauge running through there. It was a major pain in the Azz. If the grommet pops out due to force applied, just push it back into place with your fingers until it is in position. mine went into the engine compartment, then into the passenger compartment before I got it right. Ground wherever it is convenient, but ground very very well. cheers!
Re: Amp Install
My last car was a maxima, and that's exactly what I did. My usual investigation this time told me it'd be a bad idea to drill, and I found said grommet. Tough to get my arm down there, but it looks clean! I pulled the 8 gauge for my front amp this morning, that one wasn't as bad as the 4 gauge. I am very glad to be done with pulling wires through this damn car though, I'll tell you that!
