post #3 has a pic of where I mounted mine. A lot of people seem to have them in that spot, too. Those aren't the ballasts I currently have on the car, but I mounted them in the same spot nonetheless using 3m double sided tape

on passenger side i put it between battery and headlamp. driver side, on that shelf under the headlamp near the ps pump. it sticks out a bit so you have to secure it.
