I figured my other thread was in the wrong section.

Should I be wiring my halo's directly to the headlight wiring, which has wires such as red-blue, red-white, red-black, red-yellow, just red, etc. or should I be wiring them to the park lights which, from what I understand, have a red, a black and a green wire, which makes a lot more sense than the stupid multi-colored headlight wires.

I just don't know which wires I should be splicing into. I want my halo's on all the time (with the daytime running lights and also when the headlights are on). To achieve this, do I need to wire them into the headlight wiring? If I wire them to the park light, they wouldn't be on during the day unless I drove around with my park lights on, right? I know they are hard to see in the day anyways, but it would still be nice to have them on.

i wired my fogs into the red/yel on the park lights behind the right front park light.

Bump.

I've just recently bought an 02 Ex with halo's, but who ever installed them never wired the actual halo lights... so there are just two wires sitting there connected to nothing. I would really appreciate some help!! It would be bad @ss if i could roll around with those halo's shining!

I wired them into my parking lights and they go on when i turn on my running lights/ daytime lights idk wat u call em lol parking lights

i wired mine straight to the battery then ran them through a switch.. that way u can have them on by themselves for show.. or u can run them on with ur headlights on.. gives you the choice.. doesnt really matter though

If you want them on "all the time" which means with DRLs (headlights off) and with your headlights on then wire them to something that hooks up to your ignition so that way they turn on whenever you start your car. If you want control over it then you should use a switch of some sort instead.
