Alternator Suggestions

Hello, I'm looking to buy a new alternator to replace the stock one in my 2005 Civic DX VP. I'd like around 150A and preferably not more than $300. I've searched around but it seems like everything on the internet has bad reviews, i.e. Alterstart, Load Boss Alternators, BNR Parts, etc. Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Alternator Suggestions

Thanks for the reply

I checked them out but unfortunately they didn't have anything for my car. I've been doing some more research too and I discovered Alterstart has a lot of good reviews as well as the bad. I think because its under a one year warranty I will try them out. Thanks for the help though.

Re: Alternator Suggestions

I just wrote this D.I.Y. for a Fitzall from Power Bastards. Requires lots of work but if you willing to do the work you get 220amps
