So what r u 7th genr's securing your sub box to? you know to keep it from slidin around in the trunk. i just got a single 10 with the amp and cap bolted to the box and as of right now its just screwed down to the i guess it would be "plywood" spare tire cover.

Re: securing your box

usually just get a metal L bracket and bolt one side to the box and the other side to the car frame.

i just used industrial strength velcro but i don't think that would be ideal for heavier boxes mine is extremely light for two twelves.

Re: securing your box

i used hinges (due to the odd angle needed) to secure my sub box so it wasn't sliding around.

I did basically the same thing a while back after finding ur pic electic130, works great- I think I rep'd ya.

Foffie- I've got a single 10" also so I'd reccomend securing ur sub behind the 40 sec of your back seats, it should fit perfectly and you can access the 60 section in case you need to haul some big stuff - snowboard, surfboard, dead body ect.

Re: securing your box

that wouldn't work well if you have amps and other components on the back of your seats.

the amp is on the other side of the box in that pic. it's screwed to the side of the sub box vertically. i don't run any caps.
