Ordered HU

well, I ordered my 2 weeks ago from SmilePhotoVideo.com, because of the Easter holiday, they were closed until after Friday, April 5th. I received an e-mail on Saturday saying that the HU was finally shipped. I hope it is here before the weekend so that I can install it. ::crosses fingers::

here is what I got: Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X917

I used a Crutchfield link because they give detailed descriptions. I got it for $334.95 with shipping. Not bad.

it is last year's top of the line model. I figure if I buy all of last year's top of the line stuff, I am still getting great stuff and it will be cheaper than the brand new stuff.

I'll be taking pictures of the install and will post them when I am done.

I don't drink, but thanks anyways. hehe. I wish they would have given me a tracking number. maybe I will e-mail them back and ask for it. I love watching my package make its way to my house.

Look like a nice deck. I have the 8017 MP3 player and I love it. My had a really old Kenwood in his old truck, that player had no problems, and neiter does mine. Have fun with it.

I sure will. the next thing I am ordering is the component set for up front, the rear coaxials, and the amp to power them. that will be in a month I think.
