dome/ceiling light failed on 2005 civic
There seems to be some kind of brains behind these lights (they turn on when I turn the key to off, and slowly dim, for example) so I don't think it's just a simple doorswitch-battery-light circuit. The fuse panel diagram doesn't specify one fuse for the lights.
This is just a prep question, since I haven't started poking around with a voltmeter yet... but is there some specific place I should start looking? The bulb looks ok - the filament looks complete - but I'll of course test it for continuity too.

Re: dome/ceiling light failed on 2005 civic
It is controlled by a circuit inside the under dash fuse box called the "multiplex control unit"
The bulb is provided power and is controlled by the system. Fuse #10 7.5 Amp in under dash box, Fuse #3 7.5 Amp in under hood box.
WHT/BLU = Constant 12 Volts
GRN/RED = Control Lead
