so about a year ago my car got rear-ended in front of my house, took into the dealership and had everything fixed and working fine, except for one thing

i have an audiovox car alarm and normally it would beep once when i would lock my car, after the accident it now beeps three times when i lock it, usually this would mean that a door is open but everything is closed...

also if i set my interior dome light to turn on whenever a door is open it remains on even when both doors and the trunk is closed instead of turning off by itself

i've been living with it for about a year but im finally sick of it, i'm not a car alarm expert (best buy installed it for me), is this something i can fix myself? thanks in advance

it seems like a broken door trigger. check each door to make sure they all have the lil nipple thing and take that off to be sure its actually plugged in from the back. they mightve forgot.
