Specifically which subs are those??? Stealth series?..IT series?.. HED's??.. Generally you want an amp that'll just about match their RMS power ratings.. so say eachsubs handles 200Watts RMS..then you'd want a 400Wrms amp for those 2 subs.. a little less power is fine as well.

that's what i was assuming but when reading about all that suff about hooking them up it seems more complicated
i was looking at these two 10" MTX thunder6000 on ebay
peak power was 500watts each
so your saying i'll either need a 1000 watts amp or a combination of amps to meet that wattage?
right?

well for one..MTX600's are pure garbage.. 2..you don't need any wattage amp..but a 500Wrms amp would be Ideal...Before you buy anything and end dissapointed, Please learn a little more about car audio before you find you wasted a few hundredd$$ on stuff that' gonna blow or will sound like garbage...

Oi You have a bit to learn.. Regular kenwood ( not excelon) is pretty much low end low quality stuff.... Kenwood Subs of any kind are not too good..Please go to SoundDomain.com Read through the various forums and get a better bearing before you go shopping

i know this isnt market place but ive got 2 eclipse 8710.8 subs for sale. they get plenty loud with good sq. but it depends on your application. Remember Mohawk "Install is the key". you could have the best equiptment but still sound like $hit.
