Sun/Moon Roof Button Light
i have a 01 ex and on the left side where the cruise control button is at theres the buttons for the moonroof. i was wondering is there a light that lites the buttons up? because my parents accord has it. So im wondering if theres a light or fuse i can check to see if it went out. Thanks

Re: Sun/Moon Roof Button Light
i just unplugged mine lol. its distracting having lit up crap down there. if you want the bulb lemme know, i have a whole bag of those stupid things.
^leds only last forever if theyre wired right. having a single led with resistor will not last forever. where do you think the other 10v goes? it has to be dissipated by the resistor which will eventually fail, and then the led will blow.

Mine used to light up. I played with them, decided I didn't like it, then just took them out. Cruise is the only one that lights up, the mirror was too much of a hassle to put back together once I took out the LED that was in there and started playing with it.

Re: Sun/Moon Roof Button Light
open the coin tray, and look for a star screw somewhere inside near the top. take that off, then the whole panel pulls out. the switch can squeeze out from the front by slipping it out. then you can see the bulb on the side, just use a screwdriver to twist it loose and then pop it off. its almost always the bulb, those lil things dont last too long cause they get hot.

i've been having a similar problem. is there a fuse i can look for? one day it will be lit up and the next it won't be. it's like something is shaking loose.

Re: Sun/Moon Roof Button Light
You could try removing the bulb and gently scrape the 2 exposed wire leads to clean them and re-install bulb. It may solve it for you without buying bulb.
