Can not aim 05 headlights correctly..

I've searched the forums but i could not solve the problem i am having. I have recently installed some aftermarket low beams and hyper yellow high beams and when i turn on the lows and highs together, it was not balanced correctly because the driver side low beam was a lot higher than the passenger side. when i adjusted the gear on the driver side to the left (lower) i turned on the lows and highs again and both lows appear to look even but now the driver side high beam is way lower than the passenger high beam... can anybody tell me why this is? it just does not make sense to me...

try adjusting them with the lights on, not off. a small adjustment makes a big difference. you can't do it with them off.

Re: Can not aim 05 headlights correctly..

I had the same problem on my 05 coupe headlights when upgrading the bulbs. I tried everything and the only adjustment **** adjust both low and high beam bulbs for some stupid reason. The best solution I found was to align the high beams with the low beam bulbs removed from the housing. Once they are aligned install the low beams. My driver low beam was lower then my pass side so I switched the bulbs around and got it relatively close. So I said screw wasting anymore time to try and get the daytime running lights perfectly level as long as my high beams are aligned . The 01-03 dont have this problem only the 04-05. This is the sole reason i havnt upgraded to hid yet because I dont have the patience to adjust these things again.

dang what a nightmare. yeah i still can't get all four to allign correctly. i adjusted my low beams to match pretty evenly together but the second i put on my highs, one shoots straight up higher than the other. i wish the headlamps had another adjuster for the highs so i can resolve this. its not like its a huge deal to me, im just determined to get all four bulbs to match evenly :/

i would deff worry about your high beams more than your lows, you really wanna get your highs adjusted properly, traveling 100+km/h in the dark without properly adjusted high beams isnt very good.
