power door locks
2001 civic ex - all at once: keyless entry stopped working, opened door with key, got inside the car and the master power lock did not work; dome light did not work with door open; door chime did not work with car running and door open; and parking brake light stayed when car was running and when brake was not engaged. It all happened at once. I had locked the car just a few minutes earlier with the keyless entry. checked brake fluid, it was ok. checked for blown fuses there were none. Any clues. Aprreciate any help.
Re: power door locks
Checked it. It was good. Also, this morning the intermitent wipers don't work. Is there some kind of control unit for all this stuff. I can't imagine it's a harness. The faulty components are all in different locations in the car. It has to be some kind of computer problem.

Re: power door locks
Yes, There is such a unit it's called the "multiplex control unit" it is contained as part of the under dash fuse box.
Entry light system / keyless /wiper-washer and some others as well.
