Help quick..Remote turn on

I'm helping my buddy install and amp with a factory deck. My final question what should I use for a remote turn on?? The cigarette lighter is always on. This is in a Cadillac Catera. Do I just look for a wire that comes to life when the ignition is on, and run it from there??

Thanks

One tip , if you are gonna do that ... fuse it ! i mean you dont need a huge fuse 5 amp is more than adequate , since remote turn on is very little current off aftermarket decks

id say throw a switch in there as well, every amp has its inherrant noise, turn teh gain up and you hear a hissssssssss so you put in a switch with ACC wire so you can turn teh amp off if you want, but if you want it on, only will go on if accesory is on.
