Gauge Clusters.
Ok, here's the deal, I have a WTB thread up looking for a cluster, amongst other things. What I'd like here is a break down of what years, and trim levels have what clusters. I've seen similar threads in the past, but either the images don't work anymore, or no one knew what the hell they were talking about. In this thread, I'm putting up pics of all the different styles of 7th gen clusters I've found, and I need some info on what year/trim they came out of. I also need to know what color they light up. Additionally, it's true that the 01-05 DX, and the 01-02 LX/EX are one pin out on the connector, and the 03-05 LX/DX are another, right??
01-05 DX, lights up orange in coupe. Is the sedan the same color??
03-05 LX/EX coupe, LEDs light up white numbers, with red rings.
03-05 LX/EX sedan, LEDs light up white numbers, with blue rings.
01-02 LX/EX, what color, or colors does this light up?? Was it just in the LX, or just in the EX?

the 01-02 lx/ex gauge cluster lights up orange/red...whatever color it is.. looks reddish to me.. its just the numbers or letters or whatever that light up. i duno if it came in the lx..i have an ex and thats how it is in mine

yea yellowish white i think would best describe it
you should include the hybrid gauges as well i remember someone on this forum that did a cluster swap to the hybrid before

I believe you are correct, the DX is plug and play with the 01-02 LX/EX and the 03-05 LX/EX(i think you were trying to refer to the EX anyways) are different and require rewiring of the wire connectors if you want to swap from DX to 03-05 LX/EX cluster

ok, so in all years, the lighting in the coupes is one color, and the sedans are another. is anyone able to tell us what's what with the three different color gauge faces for the first two years??

ALL 01-02 LX/EX AND 01-05 DX/VP CLUSTERS WILL PLUG AND PLAY, OLD STYLE LIT WITH BULBS AND PAINTED FILTER.
ALL 03-05 LX/EX CLUSTERS HAVE DIFFERENT LED GAUGES AND WILL ONLY SWAP BETWEEN THE SAME NEW STYLE, NOT ANY OF THE OLDER STYLE.

yeah, tell me about it. as you can see, all those images are from ebay. i'm having a hell of a time finding a manual cluster with the right mileage, etc.
