i have an oem alarm...and suddenly 1 remote control stops working...even w/ a new battery.

help would be appriciated. thx

OEM Alarm brain might be dead or the antenna may not be communicating with the transmitter. I don't think the OEM alarm is like the 6th gen's alarms where it's tied into the radio. I'd go aftermarket like DEI (Viper, Clifford, Sidewinder, Python, Avital, etc.) or Autopage. They're better alarms. Just my 2 cents.

Look for broken solder connections between the circuit board and the part that holds the battery in.

why do you need two? just use the other one. and open up the broken one. alot of times you just need to clean the metal contacts with alcohol (remove battery first obviously)

Im have a problem with mine too and my radio, the led light works and there no power to the radio, I just swaped my gauges to the type-s. No blown fuses, can anyone help?
