Window auto roll wont work
Window auto roll wont work
The battery of my car died this afternoon. I called a friend to help me jump start the car with series. It worked. My HU settings was intack and nothing seemed to be affected. The only thing I noticed different was the auto roll down/up on the driver's side window. The switch for the manual roll is still working but not the "auto" switch. I changed my battery on the same day.
Can anyone help me with this?
I have a civic 2001 a/t sedan.
Thanks!

Re: Window auto roll wont work
Mine stopped working years ago, never been able to find out why. Even after I pulled the door panel off and cleaned out all the contacts and all it still doesn't work. Finally just gave up

Re: Window auto roll wont work
Start Engine
Push drivers side switch "down" until window open complete.
Pull drivers switch "up" until closed complete, and then continue to hold switch in "up" position for 2 seconds or more.
Test auto down feature.
Good Luck,
If I ever take my battery loose I plan on not re-setting mine. I don't use it very often.

other windows are working from the driver's switch. window lock button is working and all windows are working from the driver's side switch.
