Problems with alarm
I been having some problems with my car's alarm. Well it does lock and unlock, but the horn doesn't make any noise. I check all the wiring, and everything is in working order. So do I need a new horn for my alarm??? Any suggestions??

7th Generation ??
The horn relay and one of the other relays can be swapped as a simple test to rule out the horn relay. (the horn relay is the middle relay in the group of three relays on the far left of under-hood fuse box)
Not likely the relay more likely the horn itself, Do you have a test light or volt meter available ??

So it does use the factory horn ??
I was thinking after posting it may use another (siren type) horn. (they are for the most part a speaker)
The relays just plug in and out, The horn relay is the center one in the group of three on the far left of the under-hood fuse box. You should be able to here the relay click and possibly feel the click if you touch it.
Check that the part #s printed on the relays match (the ones in my 05 do) and simply swap it with one of the matching relays above or below the horn relay. (use a Sharpie and put a small H on the relay so you can keep track of its origin)
If it is not the relay the horn itself would be next to test. Tough to get to on a 7th gen Civic.
