vafc or vafc2
can i use the original vafc or do i have to use the vafcII on my 01 ex ? And yes i know they arent worth the money and there is better things i can do.

the vafc 1 can he hot wired to work but the VAFC2 is recommended!

Depends on what you have and what your triyng to do. The vafc2 still has to be wired if your running a head swapped lx/dx motor.

Just checked out your profile (duh), you have an EX so your good to go.

im just trying to squeeze a little bit more out of my NA set up till i ahve the funds to dezod my d, i have a crower stg 1 cam, v2 intake, n1 exhaust and 5blot ame cam gear and i figured that if i can find the vafc or vafc2 for less than 200 ( which i find the vafc all the time for 120-140 with odb2 harness) then why not, so i can use the vafc or vafc 2 it doesnt matter which?

youll have a problem with like two or three wires. I think the VTC wire doesnt come with the VAFC1. Or something like that. Dont quot me though.

The VAFC2 is all plug (or soter) and play!

thats why I said not to quote me.

youll have some problems with a specific wire. Sadly i dont remeber wich one.

I installed my VAFC2 two years ago.

why didnt you just wire it yourself? arent obd2 harnesses like 150 bucks? took me about an hour to wire mine when i swapped an a2 into my lx.

because i dont want to hack up my engine harness at all, ill be going turbo a littel further down the road w/ems so this is just temporary to hold me over.
