EPS (electric power steering) conversion
Here's a question for all you electrical gurus. I suck at electrical stuff. btw, i've searched and only found this thread.
Has anyone switched from regular ps to electric ps? If so, does this free up the engine at all? (d17s need all the help they can get!) Does this create a bigger load on the alternator?
Any help is appreciated.

i could see the load going up. as for engine power. dunno
but i dont see this being an easy mod no matter how you look at it.. everything would need to be changed.. :S

If you're that concerned about it, just take off the PS completely. What you wanna do wouldn't free up nearly enough power to justify the cost/headache.
