need some help.
So I was re-wiring my radio and realized Im not getting constant power. Im getting switched power, but not constant. I took my MM and tested the switched at the harness that plugs into the factory harness, where I had switched, and no constant. So I unplugged the harness and checked the factory harness. Again, switched, but no constant. So unless I was checking the wrong plug, then Ive got a problem. Where should I check next?

The grey box gets power with the key on, and no power with it off since its my switched power.
The black box has no power at all. Thats where the constant 12v is.

I checked the fuse already and its fine. I just went and double checked it...its still fine.
Im stumped. lol
The only junction on that wire between the fuse and the deck is in the underdash fuse box. I'm not sure how much fun it will be to track that connection down and check it out though. Here's some diagrams that might be useful. If you're spending too much time tracing it down you could just re-wire to the constant at the ignition harness with a fuse. (white wire, 40A)
The constant wire comes into the underdash fusebox @ pin 2 on the J plug. The J plug is number 12 in the J plug diagram. It is on the rear-facing side of the fusebox.
The wire leaves the underdash fusebox towards the radio @ pin 4 of the N plug. The N plug is number 9 in that diagram and faces the front of the vehicle.
Good luck!

That might be the easiest thing to do. You could just grab power at the white wire @ the ignition harness and tap into N4 thru a fuse. However, if there is an open somewhere in that wire it won't work. Check continuity between that N4 in the fusebox and pin 10 at the deck harness. If there's continuity then I would tap it like you say.
