Need some wiring help.

So I was re-wiring my radio and realized Im not getting constant power. Im getting switched power, but not constant. I took my MM and tested the switched at the harness that plugs into the factory harness, where I had switched, and no constant. So I unplugged the harness and checked the factory harness. Again, switched, but no constant. So unless I was checking the wrong plug, then Ive got a problem. Where should I check next?

The grey box gets power with the key on, and no power with it off since its my switched power.
The black box has no power at all. Thats where the constant 12v is.

Check the "back up" fuse in the under-hood fuse box. Fuse #9 = 10 Amp

The wiring in the 7th gen is all ****ed up, yellow is constant and red is switched. That might be confusing you. Here is a picture of my harness after I added another 20 feet to each wire. As you can see, you have a blue wire which says POWER ANTENNA, a red wire which says IGNITION/SWITCHED 12 VOLT and a yellow wire which says BATTERY/CONSTANT. You want to hook the power into the yellow wire so it has constant power and hook the switched wire to the red wire so it comes on with the vehicle. You don't want to do it any other way. Using the blue wire might work but it's up to you if you want to try.

Ive wired up hundreds of stereos...lol. The thing is in the factory harness. Thats what the pic is of. The #10 pin is the constant power, which is getting nothing. The #1 pin, wich is my switched 12 volt is the wire that still gets power only when the key is one though since its a switched 12 volt source. I checked all my fuses and theyre fine. Its really wierd. I may just have to tap a constant 12v straight from my fuse box.

Umm, on the aftermarket harness that attaches to the factory one, yellow is always constant. The thread starter is looking at the factory harness, not the one you extended.
